The Lowell Farm & Wildlife Center is a private, federally-recognized 501(c)3 tax exempt non-profit organization that is certified and licensed by the DNR to rescue & rehabilitate orphaned and injured animals in west Michigan. Located in Lowell, MI, annually, we care for over 2,000 wild animals. We promote respect for wildlife and the environment.
Sjana Gordon, Founding Board Member, started rehabbing animals 19 years ago. It all started with a baby fawn that she rescued and took under her wing. This started Sjana on her path to build the Lowell Farm & Wildlife Center. She became certified with the Department of Natural Resources, and then officially became a 501(c)3 nonprofit in 2009. In 2010, the current facility was built to provide the best care for animals and to accommodate the current and future growth of the organization.
