Vegan Michigan’s Picnic / Animal Sanctuary Tour

Picnic fundraiser supporting Lowell farm & Wildlife Center via Vegan Michigan

Come join us for an awesome day supporting animals! Vegan Michigan present’s its first fundraiser for Lowell Farm & Wildlife Center. A picnic at Fallasburg Park with a tour of the sanctuary animals to follow.

Vegan MichiganVeg Lakeshore, the The Grand Rapids Vegan Meetup Group and Veg West Michigan are excited to join together to co-host the first annual vegan picnic & cookout followed by a tour of the Lowell Farm and Wildlife Center.

12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. – Picnic and Cook Out @ Fallasburg Park (Picnic Area C3 is reserved)

2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Tour of the Lowell Farm & Wildlife Center

For the picnic/potluck, the faux meat will be provided for grilling. Please also plan to bring a plant-based (no meat, eggs or dairy) side dish or dessert to pass. If you are new to veganism and plant-based eating feel free to just bring yourself and enjoy the food and fellowship! At 2:00 p.m. our group will head over for a tour of the Lowell Farm and Wildlife Center. There is a minimum suggested donation of $10 per person for the tour, 100% of which will go directly to benefit the animals by assisting with supplies needed for their care.
